TOMORROW!

Take part in our Shakespeare-a-thon on Shakespeare day and help tell the story of Shakespeare’s life.  10.00-16.00 in the IT Suite.

What is it?

You might have seen some of the timelines we’ve created already, including the Cambridge Literature Timeline on our website. They’re a great visual aid for getting some literary and historical context on a writer and are very simple to use (as well as looking quite lovely). For Shakespeare Day we want to populate a timeline of Shakespeare’s life from scratch and we would like it to be produced by you!

We’re going to hold a Shakespeare-a-thon in the IT Suite (with refreshments and helpful staff on hand) all day on April 23rd and try to add as many stories as possible. It’ll be a great opportunity to take part in a crowdsourcing activity, eat some cake, learn about Shakespeare and hopefully make a BRILLIANT resource along the way. Whether you pop in for five minutes and add the first performance of King Lear to the mix or settle down and get a bit competitive (there will be a PRIZE for the user who adds the most stories), it’ll be lovely to see you!
