Take part in our Shakespeare-a-thon on Shakespeare day and help tell the story of Shakespeare’s life. 10.00-16.00 in the IT Suite.
What is it?
You might have seen some of the timelines we’ve created already, including the Cambridge Literature Timeline on our website. They’re a great visual aid for getting some literary and historical context on a writer and are very simple to use (as well as looking quite lovely). For Shakespeare Day we want to populate a timeline of Shakespeare’s life from scratch and we would like it to be produced by you!
Thursday, 23rd April, first day of term, the Faculty Library will be busily engaged in ALL things Shakespeare…
Look out for a Shakespearean-style breakfast, the new Cymbeline display in the Benson gallery, the Shakespeare resources in the social space and join in with the Shakespeare-a-thon in the IT suite where we’ll be putting together an online timeline!
Why not jot down a few Shakespearean insults to prepare yourself for a battle of wits with some of the staff who will be in costume (and character) for the day!
Tuesday, 7th April – we’re open again after the Easter break and looking forward to seeing you soon
Thursday at 3.00 pm:
t@3 with lots of dissertation help on hand as well.
