The library is now operating our vacation opening hours: Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5pm   The library will close for the staff holiday period from 22nd December 2023 through 2nd January 2024. We will reopen at 9.30am on Wednesday 3rd January.   Have a great break!

The EFL will be closed on Monday 28 August for the Bank Holiday. The library’s regular summer hours are Monday – Friday from 9.30am to 5pm, with doors locked 20 minutes before closing.

Due temporary staffing issues, the EFL will have reduced opening hours the week of 24 July. The EFL will be open Mon-Fri from 10am to 4pm. We will reopen on Monday 31 July from 9.30am to 5pm. Apologies for the inconvenience.

From Monday 24 April the EFL is back to our term time opening hours, Mon-Fri 9.30am to 7pm, and Saturday 11am to 5pm. The EFL will remain open during the May Bank Holidays this term.

The EFL will be closed this weekend from Friday 7 April to 10 April, inclusive. We will reopen Tuesday 11 April at 9.30am with our regular out-of-term hours.

The EFL will still be open throughout the term break Monday-Friday 9.30am to 5pm. Vacation loans are now turned on, so all the new due dates for borrowed books is 24 April 2023. Contact library staff for help with any referencing questions over the break!

Recalls are now turned off for vacation borrowing! Books will continue to auto-renew until the start of Lent Term. From Monday 5 December the EFL will be open Monday-Friday 9:30am to 5:00pm.
