A detective is sent to a city to look into the murder of a teenage girl. When he gets there, he shoots his own partner by mistake. He is filled with fear and sadness at this tragic turn of events. The worst part is, the suspect to away in the process. He does not admit his wrong doing. Instead he comes up with a grand lie to protect himself and his job. The guilt over his partner’s passing is to great a burden. He still has to solve the murder case as well. Meanwhile, the killer is finding an underhanded way to stay out of jail.
