Up and coming blond actress Nikki Grace (Laura Dern) is to star in the remake of an old (canceled) Polish film. She finds herself falling for her co-start, and realizes that the plot of the film seems to align with what happens in her life. When she learns that the original production was canceled because the two stars were murdered, she begins to believe that the film is cursed, and her imagination begins to run wild.
