“Alfie” sees the story of a young man up and coming in the 60’s job and work industry. Alfie Elkins (Michael Caine), a working class Londoner whose entire life revolves around sex. Using his confidence and charm to sway his favor with the ladies, Alfie uses women for his own pleasures without any strings attached. Alfie’s own life takes a dramatic course when he witnesses the fetus of an abortion that is his own unborn child. This move Alfie to settle down with the beautiful Ruby (Shelley Winters) who Alfie has had a of and on relationship with through out the film. However Ruby has decided to move on to a younger, better looking and more successful man, leaving Alfie with an ironic lesson learned.
