Fanny Price (Katie Durham-Matthews) is sent to live with wealthy relatives at the estate of Mansfield Park as a child. The adult Fanny (Sylvestra Le Touzel) struggles for acceptance by her shallow relatives except for cousin Edmund (Nicholas Farrell) who sees her real value. She becomes involved with the rich and frivolous Henry Crawford (Robert Burbage) to her relatives’ delight but has to decide whether to judge him by their values or her own when she learns of a scandal concerning him. |
