During her childhood Fanny Price (Billie Piper) was sent away to live with her wealthy aunt, uncle and cousins. All of her life she's been told that she's not worth a lot and that she owes everything to her family. For as long as she can remember, her cousin Edmund (Blake Ritson) is the only one who has treated her with respect. Now she's grown up into a smart and sweet but shy and moody young woman, and she has strong feelings for Edmund that she can't bring herself to express. Edmund cares for her as a friend in return, but Fanny wonders if it will ever grow into something more. (NOTE: I couldn't find a 2005 Mansfield Park, so I'm assuming you meant the 2007 production. If you meant the 1999 version, just swap out Frances O’Connor and Jonny Lee Miller for Billie Piper and Blake Ritson.)
