Gawain (Miles O'Keefe) is a humble squire in King Arthur's court. Despite this the young man is the only person in the court who doesn't fear when the mysterious Green Knight (Sean Connery) brings a challenge to the court. When Gawain accepts the Green Knight's challenge he is given three riddles to solve, the consequences of failing to do so will be to lose his head. Embarking on a quest to find the answers to these riddles, Sir Gawain travels the land and encounters fantastic adventure in the form of sword play, and damsels in distress, as he seeks to unlock the puzzle. |
