Drugstore Cowboy is the story of a man named Bob (Matt Dillion) who struggles mightily to get under control his insatiable appetite for drugs. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, Bob, his girlfriend (Kelly Lynch), and some of his friends head out on the open road to find a way to make more money for their drug habit. They begin robbing small drug and liquor stores all over the west coast, and they make a considerable amount of money doing it. Eventually they are being hunted by a police force determined to bring them in. Things get even more complicated when one of Bob’s friends is killed and they must dispose of his body before it and they are found by the authorities. |
