Great Britain's Central Office of Information (COI) was responsible for producing thousands of films which celebrated Britain, its people and their achievements. This collection of short films and television programs surveys the subjects of crime, juvenile delinquency, policing and the justice system. Highlights include: Youth club, which proposed a solution to keeping young people out of trouble; Help yourself, a no-nonsense crime prevention film; Man on the beat and British policeman, meant to bolster recruitment for the police force.
