“Paradise Now” sees two close childhood friends who are each Palestinian, Said (Kais Nashif) and Khaled (Ali Suliman) who are recruited by an extremist group to help push an attack on Tel-Aviv as suicide bombers. Dressed as two well groomed men in suits attending a wedding is their cover story as something at Boarder Patrol prove to be an issue, the friends are forced to split company and continue on their way to their destiny alone. However along the way one will keep a firm grasp on his ideals and mission while another will have doubts and question his place in the grand scheme of things. With the help of Suha (Lubna Azaba), the well-educated daughter of a martyr may just be able to save Said and help his friend in the process.
