Dr. David Huxley (Cary Grant) is a no-nonsense paleontologist who just wants to assemble his brontosaurus with the final bone that is to arrive at any moment in the mail. To have enough money to fund his studies, he has to court the upper crust of Connecticut. Susan Vance (Katherine Hepburn) is the niece of one of the rich people who has an extra $1 million to give to a worthy cause. Susan also has a leopard, named Baby, that she wants to give to her aunt. Things don’t seem to work out as planned as the leopard gets lost, a dog buries the bone, and Huxley only has a woman’s robe to wear. Mayhem ensues as Huxley and Vance search the estate for the bone while a dangerous leopard escapes and gets mistaken for Baby. With mistaken identities, lost leopards, lost bones, and lost cars, madcap craziness is the mainstay of this movie.
