Harry Block (Woody Allen) is critically acclaimed and popular author who is writing a new book. During his writing, he struggles mightily with a case of writer’s block so he decides to think about his life and his relationships. This brings into his mind his forthcoming marriage to a fellow author, as well as other points of embarrassment and shame that have occurred throughout his life. He must, within the confines of his mind, face all the people he has wronged and all the moments in which he has failed if he is to achieve self revival and get over his writer’s block.
