BlowUp is the story of Thomas (David Hemmings), a photographer. He's living the mod life in Swinging London, but when he follows Jane (Vanessa Redgrave) and her male friend into a park to secretly photograph them, he becomes convinced that one of his pictures captured the image of a murdered man. What follows is a rumination on perception and reality as David tries to find out what's really happening in his photograph and who’s trying to keep that knowledge from him (then again, the photograph might be of nothing and he’s just being incredibly paranoid). One of the most well-known scenes is a musical performance by the Yardbirds, including famed guitarists Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
