Nazneem (Tannishtha Chatterjee) is a young Bangladeshi woman who is forced to leave behind her beloved family, especially her sister Hasina (Zafreen) for an arranged marriage and a new life in London. She is miserable in her new life, trapped in a loveless marriage to Chanu (Satish Kaushik). While not abusive in any way, Chanu does nothing to make Nazneem happy. This all changes the day Karim (Christopher Simpson), the young delivery man, walks into her life. She is suddenly living a new life, full of passion and love. Nazneem dreams of divorcing Chanu, and moving back to Bangladesh to be with her family. Will she continue to live the life she dislikes, or will she defy society and her father and choose the life she truly wants?
