"Yes" is a movie that is unique in a number of ways, though the most obvious and notable of these would be that almost the entire movie is written in iambic pentameter. She (Joan Allen) is a scientist who feels trapped in her marriage to Anthony (Sam Neill), a politician. She meets He (Simon Abkarian), a Lebanese surgeon who has been exiled to London. The main characters do not have names, and are going to be referred to as She and He for the rest of this description. Their passionate relationship causes them to re-evaluate love, beliefs, and a variety of other things, due to a difference in religion and the persecution He is susceptible to, being a Muslim living in London.
