Eddie Adams (Mark Wahlberg), a young and beautiful man who is working in a night club, gets a chance to be an actor. After his discovery by Jack Horner (Burt Reynolds), a pornography director, Eddie is transformed into the greatest porn star of the 1970s. He even changes his name to Dirk Diggler. Eddie’s new lifestyle however, including drugs and alcohol, start wearing him down, causing family problems and an addiction to cocaine. His fame is slowly drifting away, and a near-death experience with one of the top drug lords cause him to step down and make room for a new, refreshing porn star. |
