The Midnight Cowboy (1969) is a film about the lives of two guys struggling to make a comfortable career in the city of New York. Joe Buck (Jon Voight) is a typical Texan Greenhorn. Vexed with his routine and boring dishwashing job, he decides to go and try his luck in New York, hustling with rich and affluent. But soon he had to settle down by getting hustled. In the due course he happens to meet with Enrique Salvatore Rizzo (Dustin Hoffman). Soon they become good friends and starts living together. Both of them start doing their business together. As the days go by, the health of Rizzo gets affected. Joe also starts feeling disgusted of their activity. Hence he decides to leave New York and go to Florida to live a respectable life elsewhere, and even get ill health of Rizzo treated. But before they reach there, Rizzo takes his last breathe, leaving Joe all alone.
